Where do I get moving boxes?
We deliver sturdy moving boxes straight to your door before the move and pick up the empties afterwards. The price includes transport, delivery and pickup as well as 10 days of storage. You can easily add boxes to your moving package already when requesting a quote.
What size moving truck will be used?
We always use equipment suited to the size of your move. Our trucks range from roughly 15 m³ to 55 m³, and the right size is always assessed case by case based on the amount of belongings and the size of the home — so the move is done efficiently in one go.
Are the movers professionals?
Yes. Your move is handled by trained, experienced professional movers. Our skilled team protects your furniture and access routes carefully and treats your belongings as their own — quickly but carefully.
Do I need insurance for the move?
Please make sure your own home insurance is valid during the move. In addition, Flyto has statutory transport and liability insurance that covers damage occurring during transport. This way your move is protected.
How much does a move cost?
The price of a moving service ranges from a few hundred euros upwards depending on the size of the move, the distance and the additional services chosen. For a rough estimate of a move within the Helsinki metropolitan area, add a zero after the home’s square metres and allow for about ±20 % — for example, around €400 (±20 %) for a 40 m² home. You’ll get an exact price from a free moving survey.
Is it worth comparing moving companies?
Yes — it’s a good idea to request quotes from several companies, so you can most easily find the service that suits you best. Always check the company’s reviews and make sure it has statutory insurance. That way your move is in good hands.
